The Shuttleworth Foundation provided LED Equipment to 5 schools from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

Schools benefitting from the project are:

• Tshebedisano Primary in Pimville
• Weilers Farm Primary in Grassmere
• Rust er Vaal in Vaal Triangle
• Sazakhela Primary in Etwatwa
• W. J. Mpengesi in Etwatwa

The impact that the LED Equipment has in relation to Math’s, Science, Language and Technology Development (Peruvian Study and Hallam Report) has meant that funding from The Shuttleworth Foundation was made available to Hands On to implement in these schools. The relevance of learners being exposed to this type of learning is critical to their development as well as to ensure an interest in Math’s and Science.
