Star Schools and The Ministry of Transport.

A huge challenge facing education today, is the ability to encourage learners to stay with Maths and Science.

The Ministry offers a number of bursaries to candidates to encourage them to follow their studies and to also offer employment in the ministry. Hands On involvement through Star Schools has been to assist some 80 learners in 2003 and 1000 in 2004, to encourage them by using the equipment and training their teachers to illustrate the power, enjoyment and interest I the areas that require a solid foundation in Math’s and Science.
